The citys water supply system is one of the most widespread water system found in the world. This is because it has to rely on a combination of water tunnels, canals and reservoirs that help it to meet the water demands of the 8 million populations in New York and also its visitors. New York City also has the simplest water treatment process compared to other cities in the United States of America.
